New York's Premiere Short Film Showcase

Did you ever watch the Academy Awards show when they were presenting the best short film or best short animation Oscar and say to yourself…”where are these films, and why haven’t I seen any of them?”

Well, the Asbury Short Film Show of New York has been giving people the opportunity to see these little gems in a real theater format on a big screen for the past twenty-three years.

The Asbury show covers it all:
Animation, Comedy, Drama, Documentary and Experimental.

Our show is like a trip to the best film festivals in the country where you sample the best of the short film genre.

Now, Asbury is celebrating twenty-four years of screening the world’s most popular short films in the greater New York metropolitan area.

 

Asbury Features the “Best of the U.S. Festivals”

The Best of the U.S. is a touring exhibition of award-winning short films specially selected from major United States film festivals!

The program features short films that have won Academy Awards or Best Shorts Awards from such festivals as Sundance, Chicago International Film Festival, Aspen Shorts Festival and South by Southwest.

Asbury’s purpose is to present these incredible film shorts to the general public in a real theater format. It’s a unique experience because most people rarely get the opportunity to see independent short films, never mind the cream of the crop that is the Best of the U.S. Festivals.
